TIDEWATER GARDEN : LYNNHAVEN BAY, VA
Located on a Chesapeake Bay tributary, this seven-acre landscape incorporates numerous sustainable design strategies including siting of the house away from the water’s edge, creation of a freshwater wetland, limited lawn, tree preservation, invasive plants removal, and restored tidal mudflats (collaboration with William McDonough + Partners).
