Successful candidates will demonstrate strong design, project management, and graphic production skills, including hand drawing and rendering. Candidates should have experience across all project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration.

Candidates must be detail-oriented, efficient, collaborative and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities. Designers are expected to think critically, contribute creatively, and share NBW’s commitment to design excellence.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated project-management experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Rhino, Lumion or comparable 3D-modeling tools and plug-ins
  • Ability to produce and administer CAD drawings in accordance with office standards
  • Construction-documentation and detailing experience
  • Strong oral, written and graphic communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • High degree of accuracy and ability to self-edit
  • Ability to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends

Working knowledge of GIS and Revit is preferred.

Education
  • MLA or M.Arch preferred. 
  • Candidates with a BSLA, BLA or related degree will also be considered based on experience and design strength.
Compensation

The expected salary range is $90,000–$100,000, based on experience, skills and qualifications. NBW offers a competitive benefits package and is an equal-opportunity employer.
