Brad Odom joined NBW in 2017, and since then has worked on a variety of scale and project types, including Houston’s Memorial Park, Mt. Cuba Center Botanical Garden, Alethia Tanner Park in DC, and numerous conservation-focused farms within the mid-Atlantic region. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2013, obtaining his BLA at the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture. Post-graduation, he gained experience as an intern with the National Park Service Historic American Landscape Survey (HALS) team and worked for several years at CARBO Lansdscape Architecture, predominantly focused on residential and institutional work

As part of the Conservation Agriculture (ConAg) studio at NBW, Brad manages projects which focus on agroecology and the ability of working landscapes to provide and enrich agricultural, ecological and recreational opportunities. He strives to apply design excellence that has meaningful impacts on the aesthetic character, operations and ecological diversity of the project, while working closely with those who manage the land and steward its long-term health. Brad’s commitment to championing beautiful and resilient landscapes is reinforced in his time outside of the office, where as a Master Naturalist, he participates in volunteering activities and continues to explore his many interests in the natural world.
