Drummond joined Nelson Byrd Woltz in 2025. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Music, from Colby College (2021).
Prior to his current role, Drummond interned with NBW during Summer 2024, contributing to the Angel Oak Interpretive Strategy in Charleston, South Carolina, alongside several competition entries and proposals. He has held a pair of horticultural internships at Colonial Williamsburg and the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, informing his attentiveness to labor and maintenance in the planning of designed landscapes.
Drummond finds endless inspiration in the expression of cultural and ecological narratives through contextual research and design. His approach to landscape architecture blends his background in history and the environmental humanities, tuning the public in to the hidden, overlooked, and forgotten aspects of our constructed nature.
